With an installation and performance at the intersection of dance and visual arts, Anita Twarowska and Murillo Basso, together with the video artists of avk4, musician Nicolas Schulze, and lighting artists MxM (mirellabrandi x muepetmo), explore the Stadt- und Landesbibliothek Potsdam in HERE WE ARE. This place can be seen as one of memory and history, a space filled with different temporalities. Here, fiction and historical narratives are collected, and collectively produced knowledge is preserved. It is a space of silence, where the outside must calm down in order for the inner contents to move and unfold. The artists enter this space gently and cautiously, attempting to add physical layers and leave the imprint of a very personal encounter. HERE WE ARE completes the Trilogy of Encounter, following the pieces For the two of us. For us all (2018) and Let us stay (2020).
