The mist
The soul believes
that there is a land without evil
beyond the mist,
an enchanted valley, improbable
but no less real
than pulsar and antimatter.
And the soul sets off,
waiting for the mist to open.
And after crossing it so much
and being crossed by it
it finally discovers its white robe
and accepts that the soul itself is the mist.

The intimate interior of the Alte Neuendorfer Kirche will become an experimental space for the dancers Anita Twarowska and Murillo Basso, video artist Oscar Loeser, and sound artist Nicolas Schulze for one night and one day. In the quiet atmosphere of the church's circular architecture with its vaulted ceiling, the artists explore a "rupture" in the everyday pace of life. This rupture makes other experiences of time and space possible, creating new paths. The image of crossing a bridge through a dense mist together serves as the starting point for an immersive and resonant experience. In this way, a unique space of community, interactivity, and sensuality emerges, where perception is sharpened, and different forms of togetherness – with oneself, with others, and with the place – can be explored.
